Who is TutorCo?
TutorCo provides Live 1-on-1 Online Tutoring for K-12 Math, Physics and Chemistry, and for standardized test preparation including SAT, ACT, GMAT and AP subjects. Students get live one-on-one assistance to excel at school. Students can use TutorCo for homework help and assistance with exams, assignments and projects.
How does TutorCo help?
TutorCo supplements a student's education needs by providing one-on-one live tutoring in an interactive environment. Student can learn at his/her own pace for more effective learning. Our online tutoring program is personalized for each student. A student counselor works with you to identify the student's strengths and needs. Our tutors use the same curriculum and textbooks used at your school, while providing tutoring to you.
What subjects do we cover?
TutorCo offers tutoring on the following Math topics: K-12 Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Analysis, Linear Algebra and Number Theory. We also provide tutoring for standardized test's math preparation for SAT, ACT, GMAT and AP subjects. Additionally, we provide tutoring for K-12 Physics and Chemistry.
What Kind of tutors will teach me?
TutorCo hires experienced tutors with graduate degrees in the subject they teach, and with a passion for teaching. Our tutors undergo weeks of intensive training and pass stringent certification exams. The tutors adhere to your state's academic standards and curricula.
How convenient is it?
We provide this tutoring over the Internet and in the convenience of your home. No more driving to learning centers on weekends, no more allowing tutors into your house, no more hunting around your dorm for help! You get high-quality live one-on-one assistance at an affordable price. You can schedule tutoring sessions anytime at your convenience, to fit your schedule.
How does it compare to other options I have (private tutoring, learning centers etc.)?
TutorCo is better than regular learning centers since the student gets one-on-one tutoring with us. Most learning centers have three or more students per tutor and charge $50 or more per hour. Others provide only worksheets! Private tutors are expensive, usually charging $70 or more per hour. TutorCo provides high quality one-on-one tutoring at an affordable price of $23 per hour or unlimited tutoring at only $149 a month!
Process & Technology
What are the technology pre-requisites for using the TutorCo service?
You will need a PC with a Pentium III or higher processor, 256+MB RAM running Windows 2000/XP/Vista or a Mac running OS X; and a 128+kbps internet connection.
How hard is it to setup?
Once you register, you will be given step-by-step instructions which will get you up and running in less than 15 minutes.
Is it easy to use?
Using TutorCo's service is extremely easy. Anybody who is familiar with Instant Messaging and Internet calling services like Skype, Google Talk or Yahoo! Talk will have no problem using our service. The student logs in, initiates a tutoring session and talks naturally with the tutor using a headphone with an attached microphone. Both student and tutor communicate using a whiteboard that is easy and intuitive to use - they can write or draw on it, with both seeing what is being written or drawn. We recommend a digital writing pad that makes it easy for the student to write and draw on the whiteboard. You can buy the headphone and digital pad at online stores like amazon.com or at a nearby electronics store like Best Buy, Circuit City or Fry's.
How do I schedule a tutoring session?
You can call (952) 486 8758 and request sessions. We will schedule it within 12 hours and you will receive a confirmation via email. For regular tutoring, you can specify the days of the week and the time the regular tutoring sessions have to be held. Our aim is to pair you with the same tutor every time.
How do I know it is safe?
One of our key criteria in selecting our tutors is their personal integrity. Additionally, all our tutors undergo extensive background checks before they come on-board. We record all our sessions for quality control and compliance with our security policy.

What pricing packages do you offer?
TutorCo allows you the flexibility of choosing different packages for your tutoring needs. The initial session and the first hour of tutoring are absolutely free to you. TutorCo charges $23 per hour or you can buy an unlimited monthly package for $149 per month where you can use TutorCo whenever you need (with prior scheduling). We also offer customized packages for SAT, ACT and GMAT test preparation.
Do you offer any money-back guarantee?
We are confident that every tutoring session will be a beneficial and delightful experience for you. If you are ever unhappy with a tutoring session, we will provide you a session with another expert tutor, free of cost. If you have to cancel your monthly subscription service for any reason, we will refund your money (some restrictions apply).
